Inside the Nightmare Podcast
Inside the Nightmare
Each season follows one person as they move through a series of real life psychedelic-assisted therapy sessions. Listeners witness the unfolding of trauma processing as it happens: moments of intensity, uncertainty, relational repair, and nervous system shifts that are rarely seen outside the office.
The podcast explores how healing actually takes place, not as a single breakthrough, but through the complex interplay of relationship, trust, threat activation, and the body’s capacity to move through what was once unbearable. Each season captures a different therapeutic journey, offering an unusually intimate view of what real trauma work looks like and feels like from the inside.
The therapeutic work in these sessions takes place within Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), developed by the Psychedelic Somatic Institute (PSI), where I serve as an instructor. My perspective is also informed by the Relational Corrective Capacity (RCC) model, a framework I have developed that builds on PSIP’s understanding of trauma processing within the therapeutic relationship.
